VIDIGO STUDIO WORKFLOW

VidiGo Studio has an easy two-step workflow that ensures that even non-technical users are in complete control of the production. With templates, and scripted automated background tasks, operators can manage a two-camera and microphone studio environment with graphics overlays and all the effects needed.

VidiGo Studio provides a simple 2-step workflow for the production of broadcast quality studio productions that is significantly faster and more cost-effective than the traditional studio production and post-production workflow.

Script all aspects of your studio production in advance, including prompter text, virtual backgrounds, overlay graphics and text and pre-recorded audio and video content. Then produce the broadcast quality studio recording with ease.

1: PRE-PRODUCTION

Use VidiGo Studio Director to create the script for a video project. Add the texts that will appear in the prompter, creating new assets, and select existing video, audio, pictures or graphics from the asset browser. Place the camera object on the timeline for automatic recording and insert pictures and video clips and make transitions between videos, pictures and the camera. Define a virtual background and use graphics as an overlay or create picture-in-picture effects with video. Add audio tracks and scale, position and rotate video and graphics, and create any text overlays required. Add triggers to pause the script or jump forward. Finally, save the script on the network, a memory stick or external hard disk.

2: RECORDING

Load your script into VidiGo Studio Recorder. Adjust the chroma key settings if necessary. Adjust the prompter scroll speed to your personal preference. When you’re ready, use the footswitch to start recording and operate the triggers that you inserted on the timeline. Use the second footswitch to control the scroll speed of the prompter. The recording will automatically stop at the end of the script. You can immediately hit the play button to watch the final result. No post-processing is required! The broadcast quality output file is directly available to publish, and in addition to recording to disk, an SDI output is available for live broadcasts.
