VidiGo Works Workflow & Features

  • VidiGo Works is an intuitive client-server media production environment. The server has a centrally stored content archive, transcode/render server for high-resolution video production, automation for receiving and distributing content in different formats using local file copy, FTP or HTTP platforms such as YouTube.

 

  • The client has a content browser, content detail and metadata interfaces, template editor, file-based ingest options and a project based video editing interfaces for basic video editing with real-time low resolution preview and EDL export to the rendering server. In addition, the client provides an extensive system management interface.

 

 

VidiGo Works - XDCAM HD to AVID workflow

  • For production houses VidiGo created a VidiGo Works workflow which enables production houses to speed up their spotting sequence and connect to their AVID platform. Production houses can spot and metadata content using the low-res proxy clips from XDCAM HD discs.
  • Working with low-res proxies on a centralized storage enables teamwork and reduces redundant use of the expensive storage solutions intended for video editing.
