VidiGo Studio Automation

To create a fully automated studio workflow, VidiGo has created VidiGo Studio Automation. VidiGo Studio Automation enables you to easily create, load and control a rundown. It allows the user to combine scenes into running orders and to simply drag and drop the elements to compose a story. VidiGo Studio Automation consists of VidiGo Engine, VidiGo Live user interface package and VidiGo Live Assist. VidiGo Live Assist is easily integrated with newsroom data systems. This perfect solution for any scripted show allows last minute changes to the rundowns. With VidiGo Live Assist you can prepare a show in your studio or at home.

Hotkey Panel

To automate a task that you perform repeatedly, you can store a series of commands, also known as a macro, under buttons. VidiGo Live offers these buttons but we also have an app that allows you to create a panel with buttons on any laptop or desktop. With this Hotkey Panel you have super-fast control of various VidiGo products. It can be used, for example, to switch between cameras, change the live and preview sources, adjust audio settings, show new social media messages etc. With the Hotkey Panel, a TV host could easily take control over graphics, sounds and effects during a live production.

Remote Production

Cloud based systems run the world so a cloud based solution should be the obvious. However, for the broadcast industry, delay and operation lag are not acceptable! This new service separates the user interface of VidiGo Live, our multi camera production system, from the core engine. This means that a centralized control room connects to the on-site engine that provides the SDI inputs and outputs. This on-site engine is a standard computer workstation, connected to a private or public network.

A very important part of the setup is, next to the ability to control the engine over IP, the real-time feedback of the sources via the multi viewers. Without this feedback, remote production would not be possible. How does this service do that? By streaming the multi viewers from the location where the engine is, back to the control room, with a unique minimal operation lag! The operator is not bothered by delay and is working in real-time, making e.g. accurate switching of cameras possible.

The bandwidth required for this operation is flexible and can be adjusted to fit any situation. Public internet or a standard private network is sufficient. A minimum bandwidth of 5 Mbit is advised. Imagine the knock-on effect of that! With this ground breaking technology, VidiGo focuses on small and medium productions, normally produced with OB trucks. Typical events like sports, press conferences or music events can greatly benefit from understanding that this saves time and money, because a producer does not have to be physically present to carry out audio or video mixing etc.
