ANP wanted to reduce the number of different applications they used for media asset management, video editing and distribution. Their goal was to find one application for the entire workflow of daily video production and distribution. The  new media management application had to be easy to learn for both journalists and trained video editors. In addition, it should run on standard office PC hardware and use the existing network infrastructure. To allow their video department to grow, professionalize and become an integral part of daily operation, ANP challenged VidiGo to create this new media workflow system.
